Monetizing Gemstones: A Comprehensive Overview
We connect clients with specialized lenders or monetizers who offer loans or credit lines based on a percentage of the gemstone’s value (LTV). The gemstones serve as collateral, securely stored in a vault under a Safe Keeping Receipt (SKR), and remain untouched while the loan funds are utilized for trading (such as in PPPs) or other purposes.
Own or Acquire Eligible Gemstones:
Purchase GIA-certified stones—such as diamonds, rubies, or rare gems—through Investment Grade Gemstones at wholesale prices, saving up to 50% compared to retail ($1.5M). Eligible gems include diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and tanzanite.
Appraisal and Monetization:
Utilize Investment Grade Gemstones’ GIA-certified appraisers to accurately determine market value (for example, $500,000 for a premium diamond). Obtain loans at 30–70% loan-to-value (LTV) ratios (such as $150,000–$350,000 on a $500,000 diamond) with interest rates ranging from 4–10% through trusted monetizers. The gemstones are securely stored in Swiss vaults under SKR agreements.

Monetizers perform thorough KYC and AML verifications. Loans guarantee that gems stay intact, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with Swiss secrecy laws.
